The Help (2011)

The Help is the first movie I will be talking about as it is one of my all time favourite films and believe that everybody should watch it.

The Help takes place in 1960s Mississippi which tackles the controversial subject of civil rights between races and class.

From start to finish this film will captivate your attention with its flowing storyline that keeps moving at a steady pace enough to keep you interested and let you understand what is happening.

Having also read the book, I can say that the actors truly emulate the characters they are given to play and give a ridiculously good performance that allows the audience to connect with each individual character, even the ones we love to hate like Hilly.
